This project for a small wooden holiday house is mainly intended for the summer months. It contains an open space which is the living and dining room; the longitudinal section of which is placed parallel to the north-south axis and continues into the kitchen. On the whole width of the south elevation a glass sliding window has been placed. This way the sense is created that the living room is extended towards the outside space and unites the inside with the court which together form the area for daily use.
The elevations of horizontal wooden strips in different colours fits the structure in its dense pine-forest surroundings. In contrast to this the internal of the house is monochrome and plain. The floor covered with an epoxy paint, the whitewashed wooden ceiling and the built in fireplace and furniture emphasize the monolithic simplicity of the construction.
